Our investment into North Tottenham through the creation of the Northumberland Development Project (NDP) has provided the catalyst for the development of a comprehensive 20-year regeneration programme for Tottenham.
The NDP will bring thousands of new jobs, hundreds of new homes, outstanding new public spaces, leisure and health facilities and a Trafalgar Square-sized open space to the area.
We believe its scale and style will change perceptions of North Tottenham and the socio-economic impact of our stadium scheme will act as a catalyst for its regeneration, building confidence in our community, attracting visitors and benefitting our local businesses.
"We take seriously our responsibility to make the stadium and associated development deliver benefits for the community and help make this a vibrant part of Tottenham and London. We believe our plans are transformational for the area and the access and opportunities they afford our communities will be extensive.”

As part of the Tottenham community since 1882, the Club recognises its responsibility in helping to tackle these social and economic challenges.
At Tottenham Hotspur Foundation we create opportunities that change the lives of those living in our local communities and around the world.
Since our launch in 2007 we’ve created over 2.4 million opportunities for people in our local communities and through our international outreach, developing projects that help tackle some of the most difficult and challenging social issues these communities face.
In 2013, the Club and its Foundation formed a tripartite partnership with the Council and the Department for Work and Pensions to ensure as many jobs as possible emerging from the development would go to local residents.
The partnership engages with employers to ensure job vacancies are open to local people and actively works with individuals across the community to provide help with CVs, support the application process and provide access to training and employment opportunities.
In addition, thousands of other employment opportunities which were made available to local jobs fairs and other activities led and hosted by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.
As part of our continued aim to deliver employment opportunities on the site of our new stadium development and to drive local employment, the Club will be holding a series of jobs fairs including in construction, as well as continuing to work with local employers and authorities.

The Northumberland Development Project represents an investment of hundreds of millions of pounds into Tottenham.
Not only will we be ensuring there will be improved access to jobs for local people, our investment in the area will enable and encourage local businesses to grow.
The Club currently works with a number of local businesses and organisations including local cheesemongers, breweries, drinks makers and others. As we move towards the opening of our new stadium, we shall look to expand on these relationships and collaborations.
